彻底封杀外挂将会让官方出现大批鬼服先解释一下什么叫鬼服,鬼服的意思就是一个游戏服务器里基本上是处于无玩家上线状态。走到哪里都很少甚至无法看到玩家,人烟稀少,所以被称之为鬼服。
是否完全彻底的封挂这是个非常简单而又明显的道理，为什么还有这么多人对这个问题纠结争论？
没有外挂，打击的是外挂党，必然会导致大批外挂党离开。
而现在玩mxd的主力恰恰就是外挂党，因为经过几年的演变手动党基本都被外挂党赶尽杀绝或者同化掉了，出现大批鬼服是可以预想到的。
但是我们要把眼光放远，当挂b们彻底死绝了的时候呢？中国玩网游的有多少人?如今还在玩mxd的挂b们才有几人啊？不要以为你们这几个挂b没了，中国就没人玩mxd了，环境整顿好了，不光老玩家会迫不及待的重温过往，新手们也会渐渐的加入进来。
用挂本来就够无耻的了，把“不用挂”和“冒险岛就会倒闭”绑架到一块这样来理直气壮的用挂那就更无耻了

[冒险岛]没有了外挂游戏就没人玩吗？

最近在论坛听到两种呼声；一种是极度反对外挂，表示外挂毁了的公平破坏人气把人都吓跑了，而另外一种是如果外挂被禁那才会大失人气，
才叫玩完。不管你心里是怎么想得，但我是一个因为外挂泛滥而推出冒险岛的玩家之一。相比之下我玩的国际版并没有国内泛滥的严重，但在我眼里已经很糟了。我相信，外挂一定会把一个游戏毁掉，因为我有见过这样的案例了。
用外挂并不是真正玩家
众所周知冒险岛是一个出售游戏周边和特殊游戏产品为生的游戏，游戏并没有月费也没有需要为了生存而一定需要支付的费用，所以得费用在冒险岛都是选择性，并没有支付的必要。而运营商主要的任务就是吸引和保持人气增加周边与特殊游戏产品的销量。其中最佳保持人气的方法就是让一个玩家一直不断的在游戏中慢慢的奋斗，而这些在奋斗的玩家也会自然介绍朋友增加游戏的人气。但外挂使用者就不一样了，一个外挂使用者并不需要在向冒险岛这样的游戏中消费，因为他们可以不会吹灰之力在游戏中或者虚拟货币来购买自己所需要的特许产品，自然他们开着电脑就可以升级基本就可以升级那就更不需要慢慢的奋斗，也就别提需要朋友来辅助。像这样的玩家并不会推动一个游戏的强化反而增加游戏中玩家对游戏的反感。
使用外挂也会增加游戏人气，不是吗？
很多外挂使用者自然会反驳表示；你使用外挂，如果觉得好玩，也会自然介绍朋友和在游戏中消费，这也是一种贡献。这也对，也许你真的话了不少钱在购买外挂和盛大的周边产品，但是你是否忘记了，你一个人使用外挂会导致10个人和你同时开始而并非使用外挂的玩家的反感。这10个人中部分会退出，部分也会去寻求外挂，而外挂就会像传染病一样的蔓延。外挂之类的负面消息大量爆出，会使大部分在考虑的玩家不在对这个游戏感兴趣。你觉得这叫增加人气吗？
用外挂不是我的错，错在于盛大
我不用外挂，其他人也会用，是盛大管理上出现问题，而不是我们用外挂，如果盛大管理的好也不会外挂。首先，管理需要人力，外挂不需要，如果保持这样的心理下去，那盛大人再多也顶不多用外挂的人。玩家自己不自觉地去守法，又在责怪执法者，你觉得这个道理说的过去吗？ 就好像你知道一件事是违法，而就是因为附近没有警察，你就可以放松的去做，那这种人的社会观念也太淡薄了吧。
网易《精灵II》
网易的梦幻西游是被称为全中国管理最高的网络游戏之一，很多人听到梦幻西游也表示在管理上的支持，网易下的功夫让这个游戏成为中国网络游戏中比较红火的游戏。但网易并不是没一个游戏都成功的运营，网易的管理失败例子大大的多余自己的竞争对手。精灵II中国大陆版就是一个极为失败的游戏之一，网易在管理上的忽略外挂的猖獗造成这个游戏的人气大幅低下降直到无法保持稳定收入位置。一个游戏就这样断送于玩家自己的手上。当时的我是精灵II国际版的玩家，当时在他们官方网站上并没有去中国版的连接，但当到看到连接的时候，游戏已经濒临倒闭，在这个拥有七种游戏版本的游戏既然没有简体中文，真是中国游戏运营业的一大耻辱。
